Track Tech: Verizon Wireless’ Samsung S6 Edge

Stunning. That’s really the only word to describe my initial impression of the Samsung S6 Edge. I reviewed the Black Sapphire unit and it was truly unlike anything I’d seen. The screen spanned from side to side and around the namesake edge of the phone, creating a unique appeal. Powering up the unit was also a pleasure, as I was surprised by the amount of customization I was able to do to the home screen. The Samsung Edge S6 is the only phone I’ve ever used that allowed the user to determine the size of the grid on each screen. … Continue reading Track Tech: Verizon Wireless’ Samsung S6 Edge

IndyCar’s Adrenaline-Inducing Entertainment Factor

Not really sure how I feel. I’m torn. Do I want the entertainment… the moments or even in this case, the entirety of the race that makes me sit on the edge of my seat, jump out of my skin, verbalize gibberish and yell out loud? Uhm… yes. Penske Powerhouse… and a Power Outage

Sweltering heat, shaky hands, nerves of steel and courage on pit lane to get the perfect… tweet. Ah, the life I am blessed enough to call my own is a good one. Great, I might venture to say… and I am appreciative for every solitary second. It’s hard for me to believe that a year ago I was in Baltimore for the Grand Prix, gathering information for my first article on IndyCar. I’d been a fan all my life, but that was the first race where I was More Than a Fan. Hard to believe in just a year I’ve … Continue reading Penske Powerhouse… and a Power Outage

IndyCar Championship Heats Up Southern California

Greetings from sunny California! It’s been hot as well with temps hitting 100 on the daily. The Verizon IndyCar Series however, is hitting 200+ at Auto Club Speedway! The open test on Wednesday night went relatively smoothly, with cars pack racing in groups of 3 or 4, and sometimes even grouping up to 5 in close proximity – a great preview of the kind of action we could be in for tomorrow evening in Fontana, during the MAV TV 500. Scott Dixon ran the fastest overall, in the #9 for Chip Ganassi Racing Teams. The most-recent race winner had a … Continue reading IndyCar Championship Heats Up Southern California
